I have received a remedial for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding and it's making my medical file pend disqualification. I have received an LOA back in October and my congressman called me only a week ago to let me know I received his nomination to USMA. I passed my CFA and I am academically qualified + now the nom, do those pieces of information weight positively in my chance of getting a medical waiver?

I also received a conditional offer from the USMA, but I am really worried about the medical. I have a regular period now, but I found it hard to communicate that I feel okay and that truthfully, i did not realize what is considered irregular and regular in the menstrual world.

Those ("I passed my CFA and I am academically qualified + now the nom, do those pieces of information weight positively in my chance of getting a medical waiver?") have zero to do with you getting a medical waiver.

Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “apologygirl12- SAF = Remedial for AUB.“ Do NOT embed links in your email as I will not be able to view those.:wiggle:

My DD has been offered a 4yr AROTC scholarship and just Received code today on medical saying "Applicant pending disqualification for D171.00- abnormal uterine bleeding, must complete AMI(s) before waiver processing may be considered". In reading another post, we are in process of setting up appt with gyn doctor to show she has no underlying issues. Can she also email you for guidance? Thanks!

Hello. May I send you an email as well? I got a single disqualification today for abnormal uterine bleeding due to PCOS after submitting an AMI. I am currently trying to join the AFROTC while in law school (through a specific AF program where I'll become a commissioned JAG upon passing the bar). My Det submitted a waiver request. I have an appointment scheduled with the gynecologist. My irregular periods in no way shape or form inhibit me from going about my daily life. How are my chances of getting my waiver approved? Thank you!

Mr. Mullen isn’t around since the computer crash.

Maybe a few knowledgeable posters can help answer your questions.

Mr. Mullen, Deputy Director, DoDMERB, stepped away from SAF several months ago to deal with a major IT outage and associated work backlog. We hope he will return at some point.

DD received a disqualification for appointment to USMA because of Abnormal Uterine Bleeding. She received an email saying that she can submit
information to help support the waiver directly to DoDMERB. She has made an appointment with an OB/GYN. What kind of report should she request from the MD?

I thought we were supposed to wait until the person doing the waiver requested more information? So this confuses me. The letter we received said you can submit additional information, but the person in charge of our case said wait until they request it.
