My son has to complete a remedial (echocardiogram). DoDMETS assigned him to a place 160 miles away from our city. We have decided that we will have our son complete the echo locally and not travel. Mr. Mullen (if you read this), or anyone else with knowledge on this issue, how do we go about changing from the assigned provider to utilizing our own? The DoDMETS website won't allow my son to change the option. Please advise. Thank you.

MOM/DAD: Google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process;" Read paragraph #4.

Son: Send me an email: lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4 SSN; provide the text of your Parent's posting above to YOUR email. The subject line of the email should be “stormchaser2026 - SAF = Remedial question .“ Do NOT embed links in your email as I will not be able to view those.

We should be able to better than that, but if you still choose your own provider, I'll hel square you away :zip: :wiggle:

We had to go 2 hours away for a remedial for my DD. But we opted to go with their provider, figuring they would know the paperwork better and the results were uploaded in less than 3 days.

Thank you, Mr. Mullen. My son really appreciated your help. And as a mom, I personally want to thank you for helping the young men and women as they navigate the medical process. There are more cows than folks in our area. HaHa.

Our honor and privilege to serve :bounce1:
