I just checked my DoDMERB portal and it says my current status is remedial requested. What exactly does this mean? Am I dqued?

A remedial basically means they need more information about something. It does not mean you are disqualified, but it doesn't necessarily mean you are qualified either.

When I took my DoDMERB exam last year, I was issued a remedial request. All they wanted was some more medical history about my fractured foot. I sent it in and was deemed qualified a week later. It all depends on the situation.

Good luck! I wish you the best.

Once you send in the remedial how can you tell on DoDMERB that it has been received and approved?

Remedial could also mean you need some kind of additional medical testing... my son had to go for another exam, which he passed. We sent in the paperwork from the exam, but it was taking awhile to update on Dodmerb. I called, and they were extremely nice and helpful, guess it got stuck on someone's desk. After I called it was updated online immediately and he received a letter confirming his status a few days later.

On the same page that says "Remedial Requested" it will update saying that they received the paperwork and that another letter with your status is on its way.
