I do not think it changes at all... my DS's didn't anyway. We received confirmation of receipt of appointment acceptance via email.

Portal or email from the SA.

Not all congressmen contact their appointees, a large chunk of them don't. None of my 3 congressmen contacted me back in the day about appointments, I found out through the portal/email.

good point. DD heard this AM, and the email that was forwarded to her from the MOC representative said that it would post to her portal on 4/5, so a two-day delay, it seems?
