Replying to this thread everyday until an appointment/rejection

so far DD is the only one we have heard of. We took the list of the 19 people that our MOC met with for nom interviews and did some detective work. We discovered that one seemed to not complete the interview (a re-app, may have decided to not reapply after all), two went to USAFA, one took a D1 sports offer, one may have taken a USMA appt? We were unable to find the rest. We know that 19 candidates were interviewed (for all academies) and we don't know how many received nominations- last year there was a ceremony but this year there was one scheduled but it was canceled. We also looked on all the local HS instagram pages where students post their plans for the following year, and none of them reflected a USNA appt. We are pretty sure there was only one official MOC slot for our district THIS year, as there were two students that went from her district/DD's HS last year (we don't know for sure that they were charged to MOC vs senator or whatever but we do know that our MOC had two spots open last year and we think they were the only two that went from our district).
 
Has anyone seen anyone from Hawaii with an appointment yet? I'm not on FB groups or anything.I already looked at the list posted on here. I am just curious as I haven't seen anything from HI at all.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that did "detective" work. Lol! There were also 19 candidates in my DS's district. I also used the names off of the list to "research." DS told me I was crazy. Lol!

I've not seen any HI yet. FWIW, HI falls under the same admissions rep as CO, so I'm wondering if they are finally making our way through that person's states by hitting CO today? Hopefully there will be news for you soon!
 
Hello Day 66! I was going a little crazy yesterday and went back to look at the USNA waiting & speculating thread from last year to see when movement started to happen. Looks like 4/9, the Saturday before the 15th, everyone’s “withdrawal” button was removed. Then portals starting updating 4/11-4/14. Will be interesting if the same pattern repeats this year!!
