Requested a Waiver, no updates?

Hello all,

About a month ago, USMA requested a waiver for my DQ. I'm a bit concerned because the April 15th deadline is a month away and I still didn't get any updates..

When I applied two years ago and went through this process, I had already completed the necessary medical evaluation that I needed to complete my review. I was told things might be different because of COVID affecting the medical side of things, but I'm concerned because time's running out.

Is this normal? Should I contact someone? Or am I just being paranoid?

Hello sir.

I am currently in the same boat with USNA. I was DQ’d for asthma and the Academy requested a waiver for me as well.

In the DoDMERB portal, it says my status is “under waiver review” but it has been like this for quite some time. I’m worried as the April 15th deadline is fast approaching and I haven’t heard anything or gotten any AMI requests so far.

Is there anything I need to do?
