Retroactive Comment to Application

I go to a relatively small private high school that does not offer varsity letters for athletics. In hindsight I realize I probably should have mentioned that as a reason for me not having a varsity letter in my sport on my application. Is it possible for me to have someone add a comment like that to my application even after it is submitted? Who should I talk to? ALO? Thanks.

I would email your mentor ALO and your admission counselor. Keeping both of them on the same page is always a good idea.

Have you looked at your school profile that is also part of your application? It would be in your portal. It might mention something like that in the profile as well.

I'm in a similar situation myself, only I haven't turned in my application yet. Where would you put something like this in the application? Will there be a section when you submit it that is for additional comments? If so, how would I say that my school only offers one sport and I couldn't afford to play a club sport without sounding like I'm making excuses?

In the written response portion there’s a third box for anything else you want USAFA to know, the written resume portion for extracurricular stuff is probably a good place to do it too. When is your deadline? Mine was Nov 3rd.
I would just state it completely honestly and emphasize what you’ve done to make up for it.

Couldn’t find anywhere still accessible on application to turn it in, went ahead and emailed my ALO and my area admissions counselor. Thanks for your help.

Alright, I'll do that, thank you! My deadline is Dec 22 (I hadn't heard of USAFA until late July, so I kind of had a late start).
