I have already completed and passed my DoDMERB exam and am medically qualified for USAFA. A few years ago, my doctor said that I could potentially be able to get a rhinoplasty (nose job) to help fix a hump on my nose (baseball injury but not severe). I did not withhold any info from DoDMERB on my form, as I hadn't had any treatment for the nose at time of exam. I was wondering if having this surgery would be a disqualification for appointment or, in the future, pilot qualification? Couldn't find any specific answer on if a rhinoplasty would be DQ. All help is appreciated (this isn't a necessary surgery, rather a personal preference operation. I don't have to have it done if it will be DQ). If it isn't a DQ I will notify DoDMERB of operation after completed.
