RISE Program canceled???

I called to make hotel arrangements for the RISE Program and the reservation clerk at Spring Hill Suites told me that it had been canceled. Has anyone received or seen any official word from the Academy?
 
I just talked with Ms. Katy Robins and she said an email will go out tonight to everyone that registered (and posted on the website) that RISE will be virtual. Still TBD on how R-Day activities will take place.
 
Did anyone get the email last night mentioned above? My DS is registered for RISE and we did not.

Don’t worry, my DS1 (2020) didn’t do it but he went to AIM. DS2 (2024) been to CGA few times already including AIM. He is very excited to start his academy journey. He joke around saying, “I’m excited to start and to give my mom the academy graduation she deserved.” I’m praying our 2024 cadets will start swab summer and academic classes on time. No more cancelled events! It “robbed” our cadets necessary trainings but health and safety are important too!
