Hello forum members,
I am going to apply for an Army ROTC Scholarship. However, I have an issue in the very first step of the application:
To register on the goarmy.com website, you need to provide a ZIP Code. As I don't currently permanently reside in the U.S., I don't have a ZIP Code. What should I do?
Also, what is required for the ROTC application? I understand I will have to do a physical exam (1 min version of the APFT - will the CFA suffice?), medical exam (DoDMERB?) and interview.
However, will I require to send in school recommendations?
If the requirements to apply for ROTC Scholarship are independent from my school (besides for transcripts), then I should not have a problem and wait until December to complete my application (when I'll have a U.S. address). That leads me to another question: are ROTC Scholarships rolling-grant (if that word even exists... I mean, does the longer I take to apply, the lesser chance I have of acquiring a Scholarship)?
Thank you very much in advance.
