Hey everyone, I've got a question. I currently am on a 4 year national Army Scholarship to a school in the 1st brigade (ie SMC's). Due to high cost of room and board, and an opportunity to attend an in-state school much cheaper (I could commute), I think the best thing to do (financially) is transfer my scholarship to a school in the 7th Brigade. Currently my tuition is $35k+, the school I want to transfer to is about $10k.... Obviously I'd think the Army would want to pay less but I'm not sure if transferring Brigades would be an issue
Any input helps. Thanks.

What exactly is your question? Transferring scholarships is pretty rare. Will it be cheaper to go to your local in-state school with no scholarship?

My question is, is it possible to do this? I would be able to go the instate school for about the same price w/o a scholarship, but id lose my contract.
