SAME Summer Stem Camp Nominations

I'm a rising junior and I'd like to prepare for the application to next year's SAME Stem/Engineering and Construction Camp. However, on the information flyer, I noticed that the Society of American Engineers is accepting 'nominations'. Is this nomination a formal congressional title that needs to be applied for, or is it a local thing?

Two of my students applied and are attending this year. Their applications served as a way to introduce them to the'local' SAME chapter, which sponsored them to the camps. The local chapters are covering their costs of attendance. I assume this process is the "nomination" that is referred to on the website. By the way, both students are at USAFA this week. Best of luck!
