Class of 2025 Download numbers of candidates to DoDMERB for applicants to start their medical process as of 29 Jul 2020

USMA - 1351

USNA - 0

USAFA - 744

USCGA - 5

USMMA - 79

No. It means that the Academies have determined they've completed "enough" of their application to warrant medical scheduling :wiggle:

Oh, so applicants of USCGA can get a scheduled DoDMERB before they get an appointment. Is that usually the case?

They will "usually" get a DoDMERB exam before they receive an appointment :wiggle:

My daughter is applying to three service academies, and got her DoDMERB email today. Will her results be sent to all three? Is there any way to tell which academy pushed it through?

How do these numbers compare to previous years? Just curious.

Obviously, the USNA had previously submitted more,,,, :wiggle:

I can't speak to the other academies, but CGA is sending our applicants to DoDMERB earlier in the application process this year given most parts of the country are still being impacted by COVID-19. We continue to recommend all applicants schedule their medical exams as soon as possible.

OBjee - except for the USNA, that is correct. Applicants, should also complete their DoDMERB without hesitation, ONCE they are able to. :wiggle:

@Objee With the changes to 2020 Early Action applicant requirements, and the unusual situations resulting from Covid, how does the number of applicants to Early Action compare to previous years? Is the USCGA still planning on making the same number of offers to candidates in Early and Regular admission cycles?

These are typical numbers except for the USNA. They are having some IT issues which caused delays in downloads and then a better of culling of the names (e.g. - all Academy Presp schools don't need to go thru the DoDMERB process again when they are already IN the Prep Schools. Those names were included in the USNA download. They are working diligently to rectify the issue). :wiggle:
