Are there any appointees that didn't get a 1300-1400 on their SATs? I think I'm in the range of 1230-1260 and I know that's really low but do the service academies overlook you if you have these scores?

They look at your overall person. SAT/ACT scores are only one of many factors that go into your app. You can compensate for it in other parts of your app.

My friend was more in the lower range of the SAT scores (below 1300) but then again she was a recruited athlete... I'm not sure if she could have gotten in without being recruited because of the low test scores
