Does anyone remember which thread someone posted all the schools that offer room & board on top of tuition? Someone had posted a very long list which was very helpful and now I can't find which thread it was in!

The NROTC scholarship website has a listing that they keep current. There are maybe 40 schools that offer additional benefits to NROTC students and most include room and board.
Unless there are schools that offer more to AFROTC students?

Here’s the NROTC list, on their website.

Here is the Army, formatted differently, but all pertinent info:

Using Google, search string was:
“_ROTC schools offering room and board.” Use letter of choice.

AFROTC room and board can be found going to Air Force ROTC College Locator to search for your school by name or location and then select the "See More" section on that schools tile. Time consuming, but I've not found a single location that lists them all out. An example of what you can find is here:
STIPENDS/BENEFITS
The University of Cincinnati provides room and board scholarships for up to nine AFROTC scholarship recipients their freshman year only. Also, up to seven three-year scholarship recipients will be offered free tuition during their freshman year. Early commitment to the University of Cincinnati will be one of the factors in determining who will receive the awards. Financial grants are also available to students enrolled in Aerospace Studies. The Professor of Aerospace Studies issues 25 financial grants in the range of $500 each. Students may use grant money for tuition, room and board, or other school related-expenses. Interested students should contact the detachment.

MY DS was accepted to all of the SMCs but what sealed the deal so to speak was that Norwich provides room and board scholarship for those who are awarded ROTC Scholarship. The first year he paid $2,000 for his Corps uniforms which are not covered under the NROTC scholarship. It really hits home when you see cadets posting GoFundMe accounts because they don't have the money to continue their schooling or when they have to leave.
