Is any other candidate for 2015 having issues with their Science SOE? My AP Chem teacher had filled out and submitted the form and there was no change in the portal. Filling out another form, and resubmitting it several days later, there is still no change and the portal says "Pending." She had emailed the technical department, and I had emailed admissions if they would have any knowledge as to what is the issue may be.

Is this problem also occurring for others as well?
 
I didn't have any problem with the SOEs but I have had a problem with the forms the counselor fills out/verifies. I sent an email asking my counselor to resubmit them both, and now one of them is green and the other still says pending. You're definitely not alone with the technical difficulties!
 
Ok, that's good to know that it isn't just me experiencing this technical difficulty. My teacher believes it is an issue with either USMA's system, or the electronic signature page. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
 
tallbutshort, same exact thing with me. Tried resubmitting the one that was pending, it appears it didn't work. I'll keep trying though and email the webmaster tomorrow.
 
Can the info be mailed or FAXed? Has West Point been notified that there is a problem?
 
I'm sure this isn't the problem for you guys, but make sure your teachers click the electonically sign button. My math teacher filled it out but I guess there is another button to click to turn it she said, so she clicked it but my portal said pending still. She went back in for me and clicked the electronically sign button and it showed up green on my portal.
 
No..my teacher followed the rules correctly. She said she electronically signed it, and that the page said it would take her to the USMA homepage if submitted. It did so the three times she filled out the form. Currently still says pending.
And my response from admissions from when I asked them about this, was somewhat vague, however it was semi-stated that there was some type of problem with their forms at the moment.
 
This is the way it works in the Army. If an admissions admin person gave you a vague answer, call back to a higher level person. Just keep going up the chain of command until you get an answer. I have twice received bad infomation form the clerk but correct information when I called the next higher level person.
 
call them...i think my science teacher may be having problems aswell; so once i get an answer from him i might be calling my RC
 
I filled out the form at the bottom of the portal about technical problems, and they emailed me back just 30 min ago saying they were aware of the problem. Sounds like the forms are going through, but not all the way through and then they said it would be on my portal by the end of the day.

It was already on there by the time I could type in my password!!

Problem solved for me....

Alright, so I'll give today a chance to possibly update on my portal. If not, then tomorrow I will fill out that online form about technical problems and see if it changes then.
 
no, no forms...i would personally call major belmont...but this is your choice not mine
