I'm trying to find out about the scouting -related organizations at the Academies and the Military Colleges.

I think that USMA, USAFA and USNA have National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) chapters.

Citadel, Maine Maritime, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech have chapters of Alpha Phi Omega, New York Maritime has an Eagle Scout Group.

Are there any others that people are familiar with?

There was (and assume still is) an Eagle Scout group at USMMA.

They also had a camporee in the past which was well attended by many Boy Scouts; however, they have not had that in recent years as far as I know.

We have a group of cadets who were scouts assist us with scout troops that come and visit the Academy. Each year, the group thinks about becoming a NESA Chapter. I kind of hope they do not - it may discourage the life scouts from actively participating.

For a couple of successive years, our cadets/scouts - would attend camporees like the one hosted by the USMA - but, as a previuos poster noted - the status of that event is uncertain.

I used to work at my Alma Mater, Norwich University - and Norwich used to host a camporee. You would need to check with them directly to see if they have a scout group that supports that activity.

I agree that having a NESA chapter would divide that group of cadets. The possibilities that spring to mind are either a venture crew (which might not mesh well with a focus on on-campus service) or an Alpha Phi Omega chapter like Maine Maritime has. Alpha Phi Omega is a service fraternity that was founded on principles derived from the scout oath and law.

For the hosted camporee, the previous poster said USMMA, did you mean the Merchant Marine academy or USMA (West Point).

Norwich does mention the Camporee on its web pages, but not much. I'll try calling them.
