Selection System for Competitive MIADs

Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone knew about a new system of how people are assigned the different MIADs? I've read many articles in the past such as the all day tryouts, prior MIADs completed, etc., however when I visited USMA some Cadets told me that they did away with tryouts last year. So just wondering if anyone had any update as to how it's working now? Thank you for your time
 
Some have tryouts some don't, you won't be able to get them until cow or firstie summer so as for now I suggest working on improving for being a cadet then worrying about MIADs when the time comes
