Send ACT score and still make next AFROTC board?

Today I got my ACT score back from a test I took this September. However, a few months beforehand I already submitted an SAT so i could have a detachment interview scheduled safely early enough to make the 1st board on October 19 (I want to be able to put my scholarship results on early action applications). However, my new ACT score, using the conversion chart, equates to 80 points higher than the first SAT score I sent.

Would I be at any risk of not making the first board if I send my ACT score today? It's a tight schedule and I'd consider my original SAT score to be very good but I'd like to have the best possible application.

I'm in a similar situation. I sent my ACT the other day and within 24 hours it was showing on my USAFA portal, but not on my AFROTC portal. I've also been told my application will be considered during the 1st board on 10/19. So it seems AFROTC is lagging behind USAFA. My plan was to wait until next week and if not yet reflected then to email the technician.

My guess is that it would be pretty close, assuming you've done everything else in the application (since after you submit it could take up to 40 days for them to schedule an interview). Contact your scholarship technican, that's your best bet.
