Hello,
I have recently received an email from USAFA saying that they have received my DoDMERB exam and qualified me medically. I have double-checked my portal and found the green check-mark next to the Medical title.
How can I send these exam results to other SAs (i.e West Point and Coast Guard) along with ROTC?

All the pre-comm programs who use DoDMERB (which is a joint agency) can access your results. You have no action to take.

Ok, same question here. My son's primary SA application has had his medical Q for a while now. But it isn't showing up in the portals in the other applications. Does he need to notify the other admissions counselors that it is already complete for them to "look for it"? or is it just a matter of DoDMERB not caught back up from being down and it will eventually show up? My DS doesn't mind contacting the schools if he needs to but also doesn't want to create work when patience will get the job done.

Patience.

The applicant-facing portal may not be updated, while internal systems are. The SAs, if they are ready to look for it, know how to get it, even if they are in some kind of workaround deal with DoDMERB during The Great Tech Challenge. They can look at all kinds of other things and always circle back to medical.

Does your son have a nom yet? An appointment won’t be offered until that part of the puzzle is solved. LOAs are rare, so you’re back to my favorite formula:
Focus on what you can control.
Tend alternate plans.
Go PT to bleed off stress.
Finish this academic year strong.
Enjoy family and friends.

He does not have a nomination yet. His first MOC interview is this weekend. The others are mid-November and first weekend of Dec. He is a "low-key" recruited athlete. (Low-key meaning his admission's file is flagged and the coach has been talking to him, but he ends every conversation with do everything you can to secure a nomination. I can't do anything without that.) So, although he's a "recruit" he definitely isn't counting on any string pulling to find a magical nomination. We live in a historically competitive district but for some reason, it appears that the request for nominations is lower this year. So, I suppose that bodes well for the opportunity to at least secure a nomination. My son has been in contact with the staffer of one of the MOC because of technical issues getting one of his letters of recommendations turned in. She has been pretty forthcoming with "how things are shaping up" She also asked him to consider adding USMMA because they didn't have any requests for that SA, and they would like to nominate someone. USMMA really wasn't on his radar before so he is doing some rapid catch up on information to see if it would be a good fit for him. Thankfully the application process doesn't seem too cumbersome, but the poor teachers that have to keep submitting letters of recommendations. Good thing they wrote them when they loved him. They are probably pretty annoyed at this point. 😂

He isn't super concerned about not getting an LOA. He hasn't turned in his CFA. He is planning on taking it on Thursday. And he should kill that, it will definitely be a piece of the puzzle that helps him.

On a different note, I have really appreciated reading your posts. Your insight is invaluable for us newbies!
