Do not lie on the SF-86 and do not lie on the drug/alcohol forms.

I personally know cadets who have been disenrolled for doing this. There is no recourse when getting caught lying on those forms.

One of the moms filled out the drug/alcohol form for her appointee. Still wasn't an excuse for false reporting. So when I say no recourse, I mean it. DO NOT LIE and fill the forms out yourself.

100% fill it out truthfully. Save it online and PDF'ed if possible a personal copy for your records. If and when you redo it some items you might need to recall.

During my interview with my investigator. He asked why I didnt list Alias on my form. I asked him what he was talking about. I have a name that everyone calls you by the nickname, so everyone including myself uses it. I guess he dinged me on it.

Smoked pot, asked if he should lie about it. Problematic question for a future cadet.
