Should I email West Point admissions if I don't receive SLE portal login info?

Do make sure to check your spam/junk folder. Sometimes if you are using your school email, the school email system may block it.

Title, it's almost been 48 hours since I selected that I was interested in applying (it said I would get an email in 24-48 hours). If I don't receive an email, should I email admissions@westpoint.edu to receive one? This seemed to work for this user.
The application closed March 15th. So you missed the deadline to apply, because in the next couple weeks they’re gonna be sending acceptances out.

Since you emailed late, it will probably take them a while to email you. However, you should not be that worried about not attending SLE. For us, (SLE Of 2020) it was cancelled, so we did not get our chance to do it. SLE serves more as an outreach/publicity event rather than an "admissions" kind of event. Don't worry though, I am sure you will hear back soon.

yeah I did, they "received my interest" it's just a matter of waiting till mid april to find out if I got in. I'm thinking there should be a good chance because the west point admissions team on facebook posted a giveaway to share SLE with people so they might be having a hard time getting people to apply because of COVID or something.

I can't remember the exact details but DS had the same experience applying to SLE/then CQ last year had the same technical glitch. That login email is somewhere (junk or spam) and the login screen did not work with a direct link but you had to go back through the admissions page and find it. I wish I could remember, but I do remember my son was stressed out about it until he got it to work. In hindsight, I can't imagine that such a prestigious place has some unresolvable IT issue. I think it's more of a problem solving exercise to see who figures it out, who has mommy or daddy call or email for them, who cries for help the fastest. (Just my theory.) DS could not go b/c of Covid, I say, go to SLE if you can!
