Should I retake CFA?

I took the CFA at Naval Summer Seminar, where I maxed pull-ups and had a strong score on everything else except my basketball throw and mile. My throw was a little under average, and my mile was pretty bad, but I still passed the CFA.

How heavily weighted is the CFA? I've heard some people say it's a pass/fail but others say to retake it until you get a good score. Should I retake my test?

If you play a varsity sport, you don't have to worry much if you passed the test. If you don't, the CFA will weigh more than if you do because that's the only way admissions will see your physical aptitude.

You posted this under the West Point forum. Note that West Point requires that the pull-ups and pus-ups be recorded. So if you think you could do better, for West Point, you may wish to train and then take it having the 2 components filmed.

Not the poster, but this makes me feel much better about my CFA score. I feel like I should retake it, but I did qualify and I didn’t do too bad on it. I’m worried that I didn’t improve much from Summer Seminar so retaking it wouldn’t improve my application much. However, I’m a varsity swimmer and a swimmer on a club team as well that practices over 12 hours per week.
