Should we send a cover letter or is an email enough?

We are preparing documents to upload, and I think there ought to be an explanatory cover letter. DD, however, thinks writing comments in the email that goes with the submission is enough.

So the question is: does the email to which the documents are attached go into the record? Will it be read? Or should we send an explanatory cover letter?

Thanks!

I luv your DD's leadership skills and ability to delegate already!! Again, there is no "we" in the external application process. It is your DD solely for everything external to the family. Internally, parents, grandparents, siblings all share their wisdom with DD.

A = Emails rarely get scanned in except in outside the norm circumstances by the staff. A cover letter that MUST be signed and dated will be scanned into the system. I most always, workload dependent, scan in the email :wiggle:
