Hello,
I applied for SLE on the first day, Jan. 15. As I understand, this year they are not doing the rolling admission process. I was hoping to get an offer today, but it seems a bit too late
(Does anyone know if they'll be sending out some of the Feb.10 offers later this evening, or maybe spillover to tomorrow?)
I understand that this is only the first day they are sending out batches of invites, but I've heard that some people found out even before this! Congratulations to those who have already been offered a spot.
-My PSAT was overall a 202. 64-Critical Reading 76-Math and 62-Writing. I have not yet actually taken the SAT or ACT, but plan to do so very soon. (SAT score will be in for sure before the SLE window closes).
-I have earned a 3 varsity letters in swimming, had some co-captain roles as a junior this year, and have already been assured captain next year.
-1 year JV Cross Country
-I am involved with several clubs, an officer in a couple (Debate, 1440)
-Student Body Rep
-I am a 3 year All State Musician, first chair this year
-200+ hrs of community service.
I hate to write such a long post, but I've heard that the regulars on this forum are absolutely amazing, and it is a wonderful gift, as I don't really have anyone to ask personally about service academies.
