An encouragement: It was a really disappointing day at our house when the SLE rejection came last year. However, DS recently received his appointment, very early in fact, to USMA, despite not being selected for SLE. So, don't let it get you down too much, if you didn't make it in. I've read many places on this forum that SLE doesn't count towards your Whole Candidate Score. Congrats to those who did make it!
Reading this I became excited and immediately checked my candidate portal... still "PENDING". Like others have been saying I know that not being accepted is not the end of the world. A close friend of mine was denied to SLE and he now has an appointment to the class of 2019.
Where are you able to see a candidate portal for the SLE application? Do you mean your application for class of 2018?
I've heard there are scholarships for those accepted to SLE who cannot afford the expenses. How much does the scholarship cover?
