SLE Admission Status 2018

DS received his acceptance to SLE session 2 on 2/23. He applied to the other SA and is waiting to hear his status at them before accepting or declining SLE.

He could not find in the email or on candidate portal stating a specific date that he had to commit by for SLE. The portal only shows "Accept" or "Decline." Does anyone know what the time frame is from receiving acceptance to acknowledging acceptance or declining SLE?

We had the same issue - However, since there was no specific date to respond by, DS decided he would not risk loosing his offer so opted to "accept". If the other SA does offer him SS, he will be forced to cross that bridge when he comes to it.

Servers appear to be down right now. This doesn’t necessarily mean you’re cut. You’ll get an email about whether you get accepted or not.

I think the least we can do is be patient, unfortunately. Also, did anyone here apply for USAFA Summer Seminar and hear back yet? I only heard back from USNA only...

I applied to the SLE, SS USNA, and SS USAFA within the first few days when sign ups opened. I have been accepted to the SLE. However, I have not heard from the NASS, and my AFASS portal status says:

"Application submitted (your application has not yet been processed by USAFA)"

I applied to NASS and SLE, have been accepted to SLE but have heard nothing from NASS. Seems to be a common situation.
