I was checking out the USMA website this morning, and it says the SLE application opens on January 15th, but I was able to complete the candidate questionnaire and SLE application today (1/13). I didn’t get an email confirmation from admissions, and also did not receive an email with my USMA ID/ password. I assume this is because today is not a business day, or it may just be that it takes awhile for an email to come through. If anyone knows, that would be great! Otherwise I’ll just call admissions next week to figure it out. Good luck to those applying to SLE!
This happened to me last year, too. I trolled the site cuz I wanted to apply so badly, hah, and it turned it out opened a day early for some reason. Anyways, I had completed it, never got any info from them. The site is very unstable, it'll time out, sometimes stuff won't go through, sometimes it will and you just won't get a confirmation email, it's odd.
Anyways, I did it again the next day when it was supposed to open up and got the email and everything. However, about a month later, it turned out I had two ongoing files because apparently both of them went through. They just closed the one for me. If I were you, I'd call admissions and see - you could just do it again on Monday and see if you get the confirmation mail and then ask to close the other file. It's really up to you.
