SLE confusion

I got an email today around 1:30 that said I should complete my SLE application (said nothing about admittance into SLE) so I decided to wait until I got home to complete my application (I just had to complete a checklist). An hour later I got another email saying I got offered a spot into SLE and that I should log into the portal and select my session preferences. I logged into the portal and saw nothing that said I was offered a spot. It said my application was pending. However, I could schedule a family tour. Does this I mean I got into SLE? I'm very confused.

I received this email after I submitted my application. Should I just wait for my decision to come back or email admissions anyway? Supposedly all decisions should be out by Saturday so I shouldn't have to wait very long. I also just looked thru my text messages and I received a text message which repeated the information from the email that said I got into SLE.

I'd give it a few days, if it's still wack when the 15th comes around I'd email. I got the same email & text (the "You are being offered a spot..." one), and I didn't even apply to SLE, I just did the pre-candidate questionnaire for the academy, so I doubt it could be anything else

The pre candidate questionnaire counts as your SLE application.

He’ll be at NASS for session 1 and then SLE for session 2!
Thanks so much for posting this thread, it was a confusing couple of hours for us too - when he received the first email and then the acceptance letter but was still listed as pending. Your post definitely helped!

Haha nice to hear I'm not the only one who received an acceptance letter before my portal updated. I'll also be at SLE for session 2 and then NASS session 3.

Do you happen to know which day they’ll be doing the CFA at NASS? I thought it was crazy the CFA at SLE is their first morning! Also, i’m really curious about how CFA scoring happens. I’ve heard that the most recent, CFA score will override all of the others. I assume if y’all get a great score the first time, you may want to opt out of the second one. (Not sure if that’s possible, but something I need to look into)

I believe you take the CFA the 2nd day of NASS (so the first morning). I'm not sure about the second thing that you're talking about, that's a really good question. Hopefully, we'll be a bit stronger for the second CFA because of all the PT we'll be doing the week before, and attack the 2nd CFA smarter because we've taken it before.
