SLE "other activities" Section

Hi everyone, I am filling out my SLE application, and I am unsure what goes in the other activities section. Is this only school activities or any extracurricular activities? Should I put other athletic items (Ultra marathon running), or just academically focused things like jobs in local politics? Thanks so much!

Read the instructions very carefully. If they specifically ask for a certain type, then answer accordingly. If they leave it wide open, then answer accordingly. No need to overthink it — just do as they ask.

Did you fill out the questionnaire and were then able to go to an sle application? Asking because my son was only able to do the candidate questionnaire and there was nothing to click to go to an sle app.

Yes, I was able to get to the questionnaire, though I have not tried to submit it yet.

Everything DS and I have gathered by attending the admissions briefs points to adding all of those in the other section. RCs want all the info you have to give and they will allocate the appopriate points to it. My DS added Crossfit and extra volunteer leadership this that section.

There was a button on the confirmation page that asked if the candidate is interested in SLE. DS clicked on the button. It took him to a page saying that he would get info on SLE in the next 48 hours.

DS would like to add to the “other activity” section? Am I correct he would need to contact RC as opposed to being able to edit on his own in the portal? Any direction appreciated as he left out some non-school leadership positions.

Your son can email his admissions officer and they will indicate on his application/candidate questionnaire that he is "interested" in SLE. From the info I have seen, candidates will receive SLE portal information if/when they get selected for SLE.
