Should I fall asleep/wake up earlier in order to prepare for the time zone change from mountain time to eastern time.

Having travelled a fair amount over the years with a lot of time zone shifts, it is probably not worth spending a lot of time thinking about this or worrying about it. The vast majority of people acclimate within a day or two. Do you have big problems with the semiannual change to/from Daylight Savings Time? Generally as a new prepster, they are quite good at waking you up in the morning and you'll do enough that you should fall asleep quite handily at bedtime.

Bottom Line: Don't spend any time worrying about this and instead go out and run, do pushups, situps, etc

Agree on not worrying about this. Your body will be in a state of confusion with all the newness and exhaustion, you will fall asleep just fine.

I agree... It's no big deal -- I usually count on 1 day per hour time change to fully adjust, but if you are young...you will adapt quickly.
Besides --if you are attending one of the Service Academy prep schools,, their will be some nice Detailer's waiting for you to ensure that wake up in the morning !
