Are there any advantages in attending a school with a small arotc battalion, Are there more opportunities for scholarships and contracting?

    Yes and No.

Yes, you'll get to know the cadre better. I've found a smaller battalion is often closer. There will be more opportunities your senior year for staff positions.

No, the Brigades give out everything in ratios. For example, a school of 80 cadets might get 3 Air Assault slots to hand out while a school of 200 may get 6. Does that make sense? (This is mostly for summer training, but I think it may be the same for scholarship)

Personally, I think theres a nice middle ground. Big enough where you have enough in a year group to have a lot of peers(25ish) but small enough where you aren't lost in the shuffle too easily.
