Bears Den still does NOT have a check box next to the "Cadet Candidate Evaluation Board Review Complete) Wondering if that's bad?

I’m the exact same boat as you and had the same question… hoping they just haven’t updated that

I am in the same situation. My portal still does not have the evaluation board checked box. I emailed admissions this morning and received this reply:

"For your awareness, the admissions committee is finalizing its last batch of decisions, and those such decisions will be posted by April 1. There usually isn't very much correspondence from us other than to notify them that their application is up for review or unless there is something that we need from the student. The application has been reviewed and passed up through the committee, so nothing missing or wrong with the application."

Those who have kids that were EA to RA and are athletes. What happens if they are offered prep school? My DD does not want to give up a year of her sport and I'm afraid she would rather go to Plan B school which is D2 and the coach really wants her.

Prep schools (MMI & GMC) are not NCAA becausethey are junior colleges (equivalent to a community college). UMass Boston probably is NCAA though. So if they don't attend an NCAA school they shouldn't use up any eligibility.

You don’t lose any college eligibility playing prep season. Athletically, it is equivalent to reclassifying as a senior in high school again. Lots of athletes go to a prep school for a year before going to college (get their grades up and physically mature). All four years of eligibility are retained. But you should confirm with the CGA coach should you be offered prep.
