DD‘s college plan B is with a school that has crosstown arrangements for the AFROTC units at USC, UCLA and Loyola. Can anyone offer up any insights to these particular Dets, size, overall culture and experience? She will not be on scholarship but will apply next year.

I had my AFROTC Interview at Loyola and when I was given a short tour of the detachment prior to the interview, everyone seemed to be motivated and incredibly friendly. Loyola has a great Det/CC and a great detachment.
