Hi everyone, I have a dilemma and would really appreciate it if anyone has any input or advice.

I requested for my English professor at the college that I'm dual enrolled in for a letter of recommendation since they were my English professor my Junior year and will be my professor this Senior year. I'm applying to multiple service academies, and the professor submitted a letter to only one academy. I've sent two or so follow up emails in regards to asking for them to submit the letter to West Point and the other academy I'm applying to, but they haven't responded. It's been weeks. I'm not sure what to do, and school doesn't start until the 26th.

Should I wait until school starts and then contact them personally?

Also, we are just coming out of summer term, they may be on vacation. Please go see this person, esp if they are your professor again this year.
You have a lot of time., so you should not be in a panic. It is a marathon, not a spring.

Are you asking the teachers to complete SOE's (required) or write Letters of Recommendation (not required)? They are different and SOE's are pretty straightforward and easy to submit.

Depending on which SA you are wondering about, they may have a link to an online submission. For USNA, the English (and math) teachers fill out an EVALUATION (not letter of recommendation) online, from emails that you provide in your application to USNA for them. The link could be in their spam folder.

It’s a little unclear what you are wondering about, for me. Maybe I’m not understanding. But this could be part of the issue with whatever SA you are talking about having received what you are looking for.

But yes, call, or speak in person. Emails get buried. Especially with busy people, during busy times of the year (especially the beginning of a new school year). Make sure you know what you are actually looking to solve.
