Hello I am PFC Corey Hart (soon promoted to SPC, every bit counts ). Have been in the Reserves for about two years as 31B Military Police. Will be in Italy in April and active with my unit until then. I have volunteered for deployment as well. I have always wanted to attend USMA and was finally accepted this year, so needless to say I am excited. Also glad to join the forum and am more then willing to help, answer questions, what have you. Anything to help a future fellow soldier

Hey brother! Welcome to the forums! Congrats on your acceptance! I've been trying for the past few years with no luck yet, I'm waiting for them to pass the new defense bill so I can try to apply for an age waiver for 2015. I would love to chat with you, I'm active duty right now in Afghanistan. That's very admirable volunteering for deployment, if there is anything that YOU have question about feel free to let me know! We should be able to learn a lot from each other, and that is what this is all about! Take care and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

I thought they give you a waiver if you serve in the army prior to attending

Not for age, you can't be older than 22 as of July 1 that year. I missed it by 60ish days haha!
