Kiddo has 2 nominations. Received conditional letter of appointment. Earlier in the year had a herniated disc, which has been resolved. She has been at full strength for some time. DODMets record that was sent to USNA incorrectly states that her issue remains UNRESOLVED and also notes a "stress fracture within the past year" -- which is incorrect. Freaking out that this incorrect information will impact the waiver. The doctor who examined her noted in her medical record that she was a "Fit young lady"...what do I do? Can I call the DODmets system and ask that they update their recommendation? All the paper work is already with USNA- do I call them? Guidance please. I would hate for her to not be granted admission because of an error on her records. Thanks in advance.

Get Mr. @MullenLE on this ASAP .... Remedial documents will get sent to DoDMERB, not DoDMets.
Who is her case file assigned to at DoDMERB? It’s done alphabetically. Go to their Website. Then get them on the Phone and then send the Remedial docs to them scanned via Email.
Also @MullenLE should be PMed on this Forum.
Also contact her AO and the Medical waiver dept at USNA about this immediately.

Good luck with this. Our son who was also medically disqualified after a doctor from DODMERB changed the diagnosis from 3 separate treating physician. We sent in AMI which also included the first treating physician and three other physicians who also had same diagnosis and blood work from ER visit that ruled out the upgraded diagnosis from DoDMERB but they still DQ him on a condition he never had or medically didn’t meet the criteria for. Now it may affect NROTC not just USNC
Thank you for this. We have done as you suggested. Have a doctor who knows her medical history providing a letter validating her fitness. Seeing comments on this forum helped calm the anxiety a bit that we feeling.
