Squadron Assignment after Medical Turnback

Hello All,

I am a Medical Turnback and will be returning to the Academy next Summer as a member of the Class of '22. I'm already looking forward to going back and have my plan set for this year. I have also kept a strong relationship with my flight.

I was told by a few friends in other squadrons that the Medical Turnbacks they know were put in the same flight the following year. Is this the norm? I'd be ecstatic if I could return back to the same flight next year, but I'm sure I'll love wherever I end up!

I don't have any insight - just wanted to say how glad I am that you are returning and joining the Class of 2022.

From what I understand that’s sometimes what happens. My bct year had a couple people drop out and med turn back for class of 2019, but they weren’t in the same squadron they would have been if they finished with 2018
