I am currently a medical student and processing for DoDMERB. On my paper work for the board and through Concord I have to get a physical etc. There is a spot where you list all your primary care doctors etc and place in your SSN....
My question stems from some back problems I had many years ago along with a PCP that is not practicing.... I tried obtaining records from these people but was unsuccessful. Finally, for my question: can the Army Guard or DoDMERB use my SSN to pull all my medical records or is the SSN just a consent to view records provided..... I am actually prior service infantry and I can never remember them pulling medical records when I enlisted originally. Everything pretty much went off of the physical .
