Standard Track for PFE

Is it a requirement to conduct the 1.5 mile run on a standard track? I currently have access to a standard .25 mile track and a 1 mile track. The 1 mile track is most convenient for my coach and I, but I am able to use the .25 mile one if needed. Thanks for the help!

To my knowledge, it matters that you complete a mile and a half in your best time, but the size of the track is not a requirement.

It's not even a requirement to run it on a track...the PFE Instructional Manual states a "...measured 1.5 mile course..." is to be used.
