I am going to keep this pretty short. Got denied, reapplying next year. They say to "improve your standardized test scores", but is it still the ACT and SAT? Or do they take the GRE from most colleges.
In other words, how the hell am I supposed to take the ACT/SAT while I am in college lol

They mean SAT/ACT. My DS took it over the summer (before he left for college), but because summer tests are canceled that leaves you in a bind. You’ll have to find one in your college town or over a weekend when you are home I guess. Since there is so much up in the air with this Pandemic, I’d focus on rewriting the best essays you can, maxing the CFA, and getting good grades during your first semester. And joining extracurricular activities...

The admission process is not a secret sauce. Test Scores are the single biggest item that can impact your whole candidate score. Admissions told you that you need to improve in that area so you have to figure it out. Making time to study and prepare for the test is always difficult but if this is something you want then you need to make time. You probably have a lot of free time at the moment. Start looking at on line prep classes or even order the books from Amazon. You will have to spend a few hours each week preparing and take the test when they are available again.

Rewriting your essays or improving your CFA score a few points will not do much to move the needle.

I was told this last year when I called. My counselor said it’s because I didn’t win my district and I was beaten so she said to improve my scores. I went to a community college and I stayed local so maybe that’s why it was a little easier to retake the tests, but I studied all summer and took it first thing in August. Improved and got in. However, due to the covid situation idk when you’ll be able to take it but I’m sure you’ll find it soon, and how the academy will deal with it. For now I say just study and be prepared for when they start testing again. Goodluck :)

You asked "how the hell am I supposed to take the ACT/SAT while I am in college lol"

@Stealth_81 answered

Find a test center near where you go to college.
Find a Saturday test date at that center.
Register for that test date.
Show up and take the test

So yes he answered your question and no the GRE does not count unless you are applying to graduate school...

I think I know how to take the test if I already did it once before. Most places around where I am are only available for high schoolers, and won't let college students take it.
