Status of Round 2

Objee,

Thank you for the answer. I just wrote to my AO...I'm hoping that it is just that my application was completed near the deadline and therefore it is still a little premature to worry that I've not yet received a letter notifying me that the review of my file is imminent. I was glad to her about the additional 25 slots. That improves the odds a little.

is it a bad thing if you were pretty sure you were in round two, and you haven't found out yet?

I don't think I was in round two. Even though I gave my counselor the forms and a stamped envelope addressed to the CGA, I found out really late that my Guidance Counselor hadn't sent in his part of the application and my school transcripts, so I got him to do (or redo) it and it WAS sent in two days before the EA deadline (the first one, not the snowstorm extended deadline). So I'm probably near the end of the EA rounds.

I did as Objee suggested and called my Admissions Officer. I'm sure that she is very busy and isn't able to get back to me very quickly...so I haven't heard back from her about it yet. I know that they receive thousands and thousands of applications and this year was the switch to an on-line application. The application web-page shows that your letters of Rec have been received and the on-line app was sumbitted, but it doesn't show that the school transcripts have been received. I always have a nagging fear that something got messed up. I'll breathe a sigh of relief when I get the letter saying that my app is about to be reviewed...for better or worse!

Not at all, if anything it's probably a good thing...we wouldn't send a non-selection letter if you're still being considered for the CGAS Program.
