A few questions about STEM

1. I am in 9th grader so i have not taken any SAT,PSAT or ACT tests. Does this hurt my chance of being accepted.

2. I just applied last week, I read that this is relatively late, can this also hurt my chances?

3.Is there any military aspect to it?

Thanks

1. I don't know
2. possibly but I got in 2 years ago applying the last night the app was opened
3. not really. You are led my mids and you can learn a lot from them by asking them questions. Mids on night watch like talking- I am not sure if they are suppose. They do give you a "mandatory" sport session but most of us thought that was simply fun!

1. I'm also in 9th grade, and I haven't taken any tests yet. I don't think it matters too much as long as you are solid in other areas. I think its one of those things that can definitely help you, but not necessarily hurt you.

2. I don't think its that late they don't have to tell us anything until around May so there is a lot of time left for them to look at your application.

3. The guy/girl above covered that well so I won't waste your time.

Military aspect @ STEM is pretty much nil. I considered it a summer camp which happens to be at the Naval Academy. It was a ton of fun, especially when it's all free :thumb:
