Submission Date

Hello All,

I'm a prospective applicant into the class of 2027 for USAFA, I haven't submit my main application yet (I've submitted all of my nominations), and I was wondering if I missed the prime time to submit my application. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I am also a prospective applicant for USAFA class of 2027, and I haven't submitted mine yet either, I'm still working on my essays. Some USAFA reps visited my school the other day and they said the first board meets in October, so they haven't even considered any applications yet. If you get it submitted before the end of September the first board might be able to see it, and then if you update your application with new information, or standardized test scores, or something like that and the first board didn't accept you than the later boards will see you too. However, I have do not know the internal side of the admissions process; the board might just review all applications submitted up to a certain point or a certain number of applications, or a geographical array or some other factor may determine it. Everything I have read says the earlier you get your stuff in the better, but you also don't make 100% of shots you don't take. So I would just get all your stuff in asap, but also don't do a subpar job just to get it in faster.
