Last Friday (Dec. 21st), after a long day at school, I arrived at my house and mom tells me I finally got a letter in the mail from the FAA regarding my 3rd class med/student pilot certificate. I expressed negativity although I had high hopes personally and opened the letter without hesitation to "get it over with." Heh.... in there I find my certificate (which supersedes all previous medical records which means no more ADHD on my FAA records) with a letter from the FAA with their congrats. Anyways, this is a HUGE deal just becuase without this I can't be a private pilot, airline pilot, nevermind a fighter pilot. It may be a 3rd class, but your basically looking at no flying career whatsoever without it. I also finally have a clear shot at my PPL now, all I have to do is get back in flight lessons, which i'm sure will be no problem with my family now that I got this.

I don't think it really needs to be said, but this is the best Christmas present i've ever recieved. I can't wait to tell all my friends i'm an official student pilot! :thumb:

p.s. If you want to know the problem I had just read this thread.
