Highly recommend attending a summer camp at WP. your contact there could lead to recruitment. Recommend considering attending SLE. applications open for SLE or summer leadership experience in January 2018, and you should apply the same day that the application window opens.I kind of want to participate in the summer camps for tennis at West Point. But I am a junior right now. I don’t know if this would be a good opportunity or not. Thank you for your feedback and have a wonderful day.

I double down on that. Do both! I did and loved it. Also you'll get to see the July 4th weekend fire works and Cadet run concert. Very talented Cadets. And watch the summer plebes march in. It's the parents weekend for them.
Definitely try to attend a summer camp. You will get to meet the coaches and possibly be considered for recruitment. Even if your not recruited, as there are only limited spots, the coach will get to meet you and you can experience some of what WP is about. Also definitely apply to SLE! Good luck!
