Summer Seminar Selection Result

Portal just updated for me, not selected. Oh well, onto the USAFA app now.

For those that end up the same way I did:

Please keep in mind that selection to attend Summer Seminar is NOT in any way a prerequisite for admission to the Academy. Summer Seminar is NOT a pre-screening or pre-selection program. All students applying for Summer Seminar are encouraged to apply for appointment to the Academy, regardless of selection for Summer Seminar. There is no correlation between selection for Summer Seminar and appointment to the Academy. If you are not selected for Summer Seminar, it should not be interpreted as a reflection on your qualifications or ability to successfully pursue an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy.

You should change your username. Generally it is not a good idea to post identifying information like your name on a public forum. contact the mods to get them to change it.

Just a note for those applying to the summer camps.... my DD got accepted to only one of the three camps she applied for. Eventually got LOA's to the two SA's she didn't attend camps for and was still CPR for the SA she did attend camp with. Don't get discouraged if you didn't get into any particular camp, however visit any chance you get.
