I was surprised and impressed by USAFA admissions team. I was waitlisted for SS, I was really disappointed, but the threads about not being the end kept me encouraged. In the last 2 days my ALO and admissions emailed me unsolicited to tell me that I have a very competitive application. Then this morning I checked to see if I was still waitlisted and now my Academy application is open and marked competitive.
