SWO -> Submarines

If you got service assigned SWO during the Fall semester, is it possible to change your mind and go submarines? Or do you have to wait until after commissioning to lateral transfer?

It is best to check with your unit. It would be an uphill battle because you need to have completed your interview with Naval Reactors.
