Hello all,

I am a current accepted candidate ordering items for CBT and the academic year. I have heard from friends at the academy that a tablet for note taking and general use is extremely helpful in STEM-related courses. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a good tablet that will not break the bank.

Thank you!

My DS has an iPad with a keyboard and pencil. Not the Pro model, the Apple Store Employee actually talked him out of the Pro since he wasnt going to be doing Video creation and stuff. They also have a "paper like" screen protector thats pretty nice. He uses it for every class. Just remember you do not bring it to RDay.

If you can wait, iPads are usually significantly cheaper at the Exchange store.

You can check with Apple, but they run a Student sale which my DS took advantage of.

After A-day for my brother, we went to the apple store by West Point and got him an Ipad and pencil... don't know what version. They were running the student sale at that time.

Did they recommend 64 or 256 for storage? Wifi only or WiFi + cellular?

Along these lines in terms of tech - is it worth the extra cost for the extra monitor and printer? I think it was $400?

Our DS uses the extra monitor, but brought us his printer on A-Day and we had to take it home because he had no space for it.
